A winter storm moving through the area Saturday will bring freezing rain, sleet and snow. A winter storm warning is in effect until noon Sunday for most of Mid-Missouri. The main concern will be ice accumulations.

A light glaze of ice has already formed on many surfaces Saturday morning. Occasional freezing rain will remain a concern into Saturday evening. This will bring ice accumulations of .2"-.5" across Mid-Missouri.

Road conditions will be dangerous Saturday with ice forming on roadways. Temperatures will only warm into the low 30s, which will keep road conditions from improving. Travel is not encouraged.

Freezing rain/sleet will change over to snow by Sunday morning. Snowfall will come to an end by Sunday afternoon with accumulations of 1-2" in Mid-Missouri.
