Rain chances will increase as we head into the weekend with the best chance of showers and t-storms Saturday night into Sunday. There is a slight chance of t-showers early Friday from a dissipating complex of storms as it moves into northern Missouri. Areas north of Interstate 70 could get a shower or t-storm early in the day. Another chance of storms arrives late Friday night as a warm front moves through. Severe weather is not expected.

Saturday be much warmer with highs near 90 with higher humidity. Skies will be partly sunny most of the day with a slight chance of storms in the afternoon but a better chance during the evening hours. There is a slight risk of severe storms with damaging wind and large hail the primary threats.

Sunday will be warm and humid with high temperatures in the mid 80s and a chance of t-storms throughout the day. Scattered storms will continue overnight into early Monday as a cold front moves through.
