Noon weather forecast 4-15

High pressure has settled in over the Midwest, keeping mid-Missouri sunny and cool Tuesday. Winds are relatively calm Tuesday afternoon, but as high pressure moves east, winds shift to the south for Wednesday.

Temperatures tonight will fall into the middle 30s, with some spots a little cooler. A Frost Advisory is in effect for Maries, Phelps, and Pulaski Counties through 9 a.m. Wednesday.

A strong pressure gradient will exist Wednesday as high pressure moves out and low pressure starts to push in from the southwest. This will allow winds to gust up to 30 miles per hour from the south.

Temperatures increase into the 60s for Wednesday and Thursday before our next upper level low pushes in Thursday night, tracking a cold front through our area.

Futuretrack 7am Friday

This front will bring rain starting Thursday night and lasting through Friday morning. Most of the rain showers will exit the area by early afternoon Friday.

Saturday will be beautiful with highs in the 60s and plenty of sunshine.

Easter weekend

There is a slight chance for rain on Easter Sunday, but temperatures remain in the 60s in the afternoon.
