We continue to track a developing winter storm for the weekend ahead. The system may bring a mix of rain and freezing rain Saturday morning into the early afternoon.

There should be a lull in the rainy weather for the late-afternoon into the evening.

Round two of precipitation should move in late Saturday evening. Freezing rain, sleet and snow will be possible, eventually changing to mainly snow Sunday morning.

Models have been trending to bring the storm system farther north, meaning more rain and less snow for our area. However, the system is very early in its development and still out over the Pacific Ocean. Forecast models and data will improve as the system moves onshore over the West Coast on Thursday.

Check back for more updates on our developing weather.
