Southerly winds will send warm air into mid-Missouri this weekend bringing temperatures up to what we normally feel in April, reaching the mid 60s Saturday and near 70 Sunday. Nights will stay mild with overnight lows in the 50s Saturday.

Saturday will start with mostly cloudy skies and spotty showers through noon as warm, moist air moves into the area. Southerly winds will increase to 15-20 mph in the afternoon, gusting to 30 mph at times.

Showers will increase Saturday evening and continue into Sunday morning as a cold front moves in. The best chance of rain is early in the day Sunday with drier air moving in during the afternoon. High temperatures will reach near 70 degrees Sunday before cooler air moves in late in the day. Sunday night will be colder with overnight lows in the 30s.
