Afternoon sunshine helped warm temperatures into the mid 70s Thursday afternoon causing the atmosphere to become unstable.  As a weak cold front slowly moves southeast, showers and t-storms will develop through early evening. Severe weather is not expected but a few strong storms with heavy downpours, small hail and gusty winds are possible. As we lose our daytime heating, showers and t-storms will decrease through the evening with mostly cloudy skies overnight.
