Slow-moving system gradually loosening its grip on Mid-Missouri

A slow-moving storm system will continue to move to the southeast, gradually pulling chances for showers out of the region. A few spotty showers and t-storms will still be possible for Monday, but by Tuesday clouds will clear out and rain will stay east of the area.

This storm system is responsible for the snow that fell in western parts of Mid-Missouri, the record cold temperatures across the state, and record amounts of rain that fell in eastern Missouri last Friday.
