Temperatures will be seasonal through Thursday with afternoon highs in the 50s. Several upper level waves will move through from Wednesday through Friday bringing periods of rain to the area. Over the 3 day period, .75 to 1.25 inches of rain is expected in mid-Missouri before drier air moves in Friday night.

A cold front will move through Thursday afternoon and the first batch of chilly air will be felt Friday with afternoon temperatures only in the mid 40s with periods of light rain. Arctic air will continue to move in Friday night as the rain is ending. There could be some snow mixing with rain for a brief time but no accumulation is expected.

Cold, dry air settles over the region for the weekend with daytime highs only in the 30s and lows in the teens Saturday night.
