Near Record Highs Tuesday

Temperatures will climb quickly Tuesday with sunny skies and southwesterly winds, reaching the low 80s by midday and the upper 80s during the afternoon. Some areas near HWY 65 could reach 90 degrees.

The 30-year average high temperature for May 14th in Columbia is 74 degrees and the record high is 90, which was set in 1987. The warm weather will continue into the weekend with a chance of t-storms each day from Wednesday through Monday.
