Temperatures were spring-like on Saturday, reaching into the mid 50s. This warmer air will leave Missouri by Sunday morning. Overnight Saturday into Sunday a cold front will move through the area. This front will bring a slight chance of Freezing drizzle early on Sunday morning, but Mid-Missouri is expected to stay mostly dry.

The front will leave behind arctic air for Sunday and Monday. Temperatures will start in the mid 20s Sunday morning, but will fall throughout the day. Temperatures will be in the teens by Sunday afternoon, with wind chills in the single digits. Sunday night we'll drop into the single digits for overnight lows, with wind chills near zero or just below. Highs on Monday will only reach the low 20s, well below our 39 degree average for this time of year.

Temperatures will remain below average for the work week. We'll see a warm-up on the way by next weekend.
