A Strong southerly breeze will help usher in warmer temperatures Sunday afternoon. This warm-up will be very short-lived though. A cold front will push through the area Sunday night bringing a slight chance of flurries and arctic air into Mid-Missouri.

Temperatures will fall to near 30 degrees by 10 o'clock Sunday evening, then 20 degrees by midnight. Temperatures will continue to drop quickly overnight, with temperatures only in the single digits by Monday morning.

Along with falling temperatures we will also see a breezy northwest wind overnight. Winds will be blowing from 20-30 mph with gusts up to 38mph. This will give us bitter wind chill readings. By Monday morning it will feel like it's 10 below zero outside.
