Drought map for November 14

Drought status continues to improve for Mid-Missouri.

Rain from last week has improved drought conditions for Callaway County from moderate drought to abnormally dry, which is the lowest level of drought.

Most of Mid-Missouri and the state were unchanged from last week's drought update. Central counties in Mid-Missouri, near I-70, remain abnormally dry . Southern counties, south of HWY 50 are drought free. Areas north of HWY 24 remain in moderate drought.

The next drought update will be out November 21.
