Another wave of low pressure will move through mid-Missouri Friday afternoon and evening bringing a chance of light rain to the area. Temperatures will be cool Friday, only reaching the upper 50s in the afternoon with increasing clouds. Light rain is expected to move in from the west Friday afternoon and spread to the east through early evening. Areas south of Interstate 70 have the best chance of steady rain while it will be more spotty to the north. The rain is expected to end by midnight with up to a half inch possible near I-44 and lighter amounts to the north.
