A fast moving cold front will move through mid-Missouri early Friday bringing colder air and a chance of light snow.  As the front moves in around daybreak, light snow is possible with the best chance north of I-70 and east of HWY 63. Winds will shift to the northwest, ushering in colder air which will keep our high temperatures near 30 north of I-70 and near 40 at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Snow is expected to be light and move through quickly. No accumulation is expected for most of mid-Misssouri but areas north and east could get a quick dusting. The cold air will move out quickly leaving us with warmer temperatures for the weekend.
