Our current monthly temperature for December is 3 degrees below average and cold air looks like it will stick around. Another quick moving cold front will move in from the northwest early Wednesday morning, keeping our daytime temperatures in the 20s.

It will warm slightly Thursday and Friday with high temperatures reaching the mid-to-upper 30s Friday as moisture moves in from the southwest.  Precipitation will start off as rain Friday but as surface temperatures drop to the freezing mark, freezing rain and sleet will be possible Friday late afternoon or evening before a transition to sleet and snow overnight. Light snow could linger into early Saturday morning. Slick roads will be possible Friday so please check back for updates and more details.

Another surge of arctic air moves in Saturday, keeping our daytime temperatures in the 20s Sunday and Monday.
