Upper level winds will continue to come in from the northwest sending cold fronts through mid-Missouri and giving us brief periods of cold air along with gusty winds. The upper level waves  will have limited moisture and mainly bring clouds rather than precipitation. They will be accompanied by polar air which will settle in briefly before sliding east, allowing temperatures to warm back up.

The first cold front this week moved through Monday morning, dropping high temperatures to near 50. The next batch of cold air moves in Tuesday, dropping daytime temperatures in the low 30s Wednesday before we warm back into the 40s Thursday.  Another cold front brings another shot of colder air for Friday with daytime temperatures only in the 20s. A slow warming Saturday through Monday will be followed by another hit of cold air next Tuesday.
