Showers and t-storms will continue to move across Mid-Missouri Sunday evening but are not expected to be severe. A few lightning strikes and moderate rain at times can be expected through 10 p.m.  An area of storms near Kansas City will move northeast in the  overnight hours, mainly affecting areas north of HWY 24 where there is a slight risk of large hail through midnight

Heavier rainfall is expected in the storms moving across northern Missouri overnight with up to an inch possible. Areas south of HWY 24 are expected to get a half inch or less of rain through early Monday.
