Thursday night Futuretrack

A few showers and t-storms are possible overnight Thursday as a warm front lifts into southern Missouri. Southerly low level winds riding over the warm front and an upper level disturbance moving in from the northwest will trigger a few showers or t-storms to develop Thursday night, mainly south of I-70 with the best chance near the Lake of the Ozarks. Showers will move out of the area early Friday morning leaving us with a partly sunny and mild afternoon. We will have dry weather from Friday afternoon through noon Saturday with increasing rain chances from Saturday afternoon through evening as a cold front approaches. Scattered showers and t-storms will move through Mid-Missouri Saturday evening and will move out by early morning Sunday. Severe weather is not expected but a few strong storms can't be ruled out.  Rainfall amounts of a quarter to half  inch are expected.Saturday night Futuretrack
