The threat of severe storms continues Wednesday night along with the risk of flash flooding. Storms are expected to increase overnight as a cold front approaches from the west. There continues to be a low risk for tornadoes with a higher risk for damaging wind and large hail  through the early morning Thursday.

Some of the storms will produce heavy rain with an additional 1-2 inches by morning along and west of HWY 54 and up to an inch near I-44. Flash flooding is possible overnight and through the early morning hours Thursday as the heaviest rain moves through.
