Some parts of Mid-Missouri have received more than five inches of rain since Wednesday morning causing creeks and streams to rise to flood levels.

Small waterways like creeks and streams have the highest risk for flash flooding, which will be a threat into the early afternoon Thursday.

The Missouri River through all of Mid-Missouri will be at or above flood stage through at least Saturday.
