Tattoo artist inks 821 people in 24 hours

A tattoo artist in Chandler has set a world record.
Matt Geiogamah, owner of Salt and Light Tattoo, has inked the most people by a single tattoo artist in a 24-hour period.
He started at noon Saturday in hopes of breaking the current record of 801 tattoos.
By the time he finished at noon on Sunday, he had surpassed that mark, inking 821 people.
Ironically, the old record was achieved by another Arizona man -- Hollis Cantrell -- at Artistic Tattoo in Phoenix on Nov. 16, 2008.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the group Streetlight USA to help stop child sex slavery.
Geiogamah was only allowed to do the same design, which is a cross, in order to meet the Guinness guidelines.
He has been tattooing since 2001.
