Four Tolton boys basketball players together since 4th grade

All the junior starters have been playing together since fourth grade on the Father Tolton boys basketball team.
Cameron Bagley is a junior team captain and one of four junior starters who are the most senior players on the team.
"We are incredibly young, we haven't had that many experiences like the other teams have had but we have been learning on the fly," Tyler Clark, Tolton head coach, said.
The fifth starter is a freshman. A new starter took some time getting used to, but the team is finding a way to make it work.
"It's hard bringing in a new person but once you get the chemistry there everything kind of falls into place," said junior Wesley Waterman.
"It's been interesting but fun because I've been playing with these guys since fourth grade, most of them. Everyday is a learning experience and it's great being able to do it with your best friends," Bagley added.
A friendship that has developed over the last eight years.
To come together as a team, the trailblazers spent the summer playing 40 games together.
"I think it paid off. All hard work pays off," said Bagley.
Saturday the team's season came to an end in the quarter finals, but there are still strong take aways; there are no graduating seniors and the team has that much more experience playing together.
"Still at the end of the day we all want to win and we all want to do our best," junior Jack Golden said.
Clark by the way is a former coach at New Bloomfield, where he helped the wildcats win a district title in 2011.
The trailblazers went 20-8 this season.
