COLUMBIA, MO. -

Ross reportedly files restraining order against Price

Former Missouri guard Earnest Ross filed a petition for an order of protection against former teammate Zach Price. Steve Walentik from the Columbia Daily Tribune was the first to report Ross' order of protection.

Ross filed the petition a day before Price was arrested twice in the same day for suspicion on assault and domestic assault.

According to the Tribune report, the former Missouri guard said Price engaged in "reckless driving near car, hit my car a few times."

The Louisville transfer allegedly hit Ross' car last Wednesday afternoon while Ross and his girlfriend were in the car. Early last Thursday morning, Price reportedly blocked Ross' car and punched the former Missouri guard and pushed Ross' girlfriend. Price was arrested that morning and then later Thursday afternoon. He has not been charged.

Frank Haith suspended Price indefinitely as the team waits for more information regarding Price's arrests.

Columbia Police confirm Green-Beckham investigation

Columbia Police said Wednesday the department is "actively investigating the incident" involving Dorial Green-Beckham. This comes days after police say they could not confirm they were investigating a case involving the Missouri football star.

On The Morning Meeting on KFRU-AM in Columbia, assistant chief of police Jill Schlude confirmed they are looking into an incident involving the Mizzou wide receiver. Schlude told KFRU personalities Simon Rose and Renee Hulsof she could not comment whether Green-Beckham would be arrested or not. She also adds the police are trying to make a "consistent investigation" despite the case involving a high profile figure such as Green-Beckham.

"I think it is difficult because we have folks who feel, 'do you want to be the person who 'snitches out' the big athlete?'" Schlude said in the interview.

Gary Pinkel suspended Green-Beckham on Monday for a "violation of team rules."
