The Tigers lose in the first round to Colorado State 84-72.

LEXINGTON, Ky. -

As quickly as March Madness started, the Missouri Tigers basketball season is over.

The Tigers lost to the Colorado State Rams 84-72 in the first round Thursday night.

Point Guard Phil Pressey led the Tigers with 20 points, who finished the season at 23-11.

Mizzou never found a way to shut down the Rams' Dorian Green who had a career-high 26 points on the night.

Missouri was never able to get their rebounding or offensive game going. The Tigers cut it down to 49-45 in the second half, but the Rams responded with a 17-4 run from which the Tigers couldn't claw their way back.
