Two teenagers were injured in a crash in Osage County.
Police were called to a rollover accident on Route A in Osage County Monday afternoon.
Morgan Read, 18, of Columbia, and Eric Thomas, 19, of Maryland Heights, were seriously injured in the accident.
Both had to be flown by helicopter to University Hospital for treatment.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Read's car crossed the center line, traveled off the left side of the road and overturned. The car then hit a highway sign, telephone pole and a fence.
Witnesses told authorities at the scene there was another car and a sport motorcycle racing the car down the road.
Both Read and Thomas students at Linn State University.
