Two people were arrested Tuesday night in Columbia for having various drugs.

Police stopped 33-year-old Alvin Watkins at Rangeline and Lakeview for a registration violation and discovered he did not have a valid driver's license.

A K9 unit was brought in and alerted to a drug odor coming from the car.

An investigation revealed drugs inside a hidden compartment in a cleaning bottle. Officers found several packages of drugs, including 7 baggies and a capsule of brown heroin, 4 baggies of cocaine, 1 baggie of crack cocaine, 1 baggie of 6 tablets of Alprozolam, and two pink capsules of an unknown substance.

Watkins' passenger, 23-year-old Morgan Dundon, had a small baggie of heroin, syringes, and a spoon hidden in her bra.

Watkins was arrested for 4 counts of distribution, delivery, manufacture, and production of a controlled substance, along with operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver's license.

Dundon was arrested for possession of a controlled substance with a bond of $4500 and possession of drug paraphernalia with a bond of $500.
