Sunday is Father's Day and last minute shoppers will be seeking out the perfect gift for Dad. The Better Business Bureau has some tips before you shop.

When buying electronics, make sure you do not remove the item from the original box. Many retailers require original packaging in order to process returns or exchanges. Understand their refund/return policy.

When renting a recreational vehicle such as a camper, canoe or motorcycle, make sure you understand the contract before signing. It should include pricing, daily fees, insurance and any existing damage.

When purchasing a guided tour or classes such as a fishing expedition, golf or skydiving, make sure to find out if reservations are required, whether there are any restrictions, special time requirements or expiration date.

If you purchase a gift card, buy directly from the retailer and find out if it can be used both in-store and online.

Here are some tips to consider when shopping online for Dad.

- Shop only on secure websites .

-Read privacy policy to see what information is collected and how they intend to use it.

-Check all terms and conditions before purchase.

- Print and keep copies of your receipt and confirmation order.

- If any site asks you to wire money or use a Green Dot MoneyPak for payment, use caution as these are classic signs of a scam.
