COLUMBIA, Mo. -

Columbia police have arrested a suspect in the Aug. 2 robbery at the Landmark Bank on Garth Avenue.

Dyran Hill, 18, was arrested at a parole and probation office on Vandiver Drive in Columbia. A school resource officer identified Hill as the suspect from a surveillance photograph taken at the bank.

Hill was arrested on a charge of second-degree robbery with a bond to be set.

Columbia police believe he robbed the Landmark Bank on Garth Avenue around 4 p.m. on Aug. 2.

At the time of the robbery, police said the robber entered the bank, handed a teller a note and left after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect was originally described as a black man, 5 feet 11 inches tall with a medium build, wearing a Mizzou Tiger hoodie, blue sweatpants, white high-top sneakers, and sunglasses.
