Prosecutors have charged a man after a shooting and police chase Sunday evening.
Boone County prosecutors charged Alfonso Rodriguez, 34, with armed criminal action, first-degree domestic assault and resisting arrest on Tuesday.
Police told ABC 17 News Rodriguez shot Gisela Angel-Lopez, 20, in the neck in the 5600 block of South Route K just before 6 p.m Sunday.
She was taken to University Hospital for life-threatening injuries. As of Tuesday evening, she has been upgraded to serious condition from critical condition Monday night.
