Four people were taken into custody Monday after a shots fired call in Jefferson City.

During the investigation at the scene, police took two people into custody: a 21-year-old was taken into custody for obstructing an ongoing investigation and resisting arrest and a 16-year-old teenager was taken into custody for unlawful use of a weapon and resisting arrest.

Later, officers searched a home in the 600 block of Chestnut Street and took two other people into custody. Police arrested a 21-year-old and a 23-year-old for second-degree burglary, obstructing police and resisting arrest.

Officers recovered two firearms in the home.

Police say no one was injured in the shooting.
