Authorities capture suspected rapist and kidnapper, Brian Adkison, after weeklong manhunt

Law enforcement sources told ABC 17 News Friday afternoon they caught wanted rapist and kidnapper Brian Adkison.
In Morgan County Adksion is being charged with second degree burglary, a class C felony, with no bond.
Adkison had evaded police for more than a week as they searched for him in the Lake of the Ozarks area.
Lt. Mike Niehaus found Adkison hiding in an empty building wearing nothing but his flip flops and shorts.
Adkison was suspected of kidnapping his ex-girlfriend, Lauren Crawford, last weekend in Caldwell County.
He was also wanted in a sexual assault in Boone County in May.
Officials say Adkison was arrested during a burglary call around 3 p.m. Friday.
Adkison is currently being held in the Morgan County jail
