BROOKFIELD, Mo. -

Human remains found Friday in Chariton County may belong to an 82-year old missing since November.

The Facebook page built to help share information after Wanda "Jean" Boxley's disappearance in November reported that her body had been found Friday.

Chariton County coroner Larry Breshears would not confirm the identity, telling ABC 17 News Sunday only "unidentified human remains were found Friday in rural Chariton County. The death is under investigation."

Breshears said he could not confirm an identity until after an autopsy Monday by the Boone County Medical Examiner's office.

Radio state KMZU first reported the possible connection Friday afternoon.
