An Ohio woman must spend the next five Christmases in jail as part of her sentence for a driver's license scam.

Betina Young, 44, of the Columbus area, pleaded guilty in May to her role in a scam that issued state ID cards and driver’s licenses to immigrants who entered the country illegally, according to the Columbus Dispatch.

On Monday, she was sentenced to five years of probation.

But Judge Michael J. Holbrook then took the unusual step of also ordering her to spend at least three days in jail over Christmas for the next five years.

If Young violates her probation, those so-called “Holbrook holidays” will be replaced by 15 years in prison, according to The Associated Press.
