Target has had its share of controversy lately and now the retailer finds itself in hot water once again.
Customers visiting Target.com recently noticed a plus-size dress on sale, but the woman modeling the plus-size dress was not plus-size. Instead, the model was clearly pregnant. According to Jezebel.com, Target's Merona Women's Plus-Size Short-Sleeve V-Neck Maxi Dress was shown on a pregnant woman who was holding her stomach.
The photo was immediately taken down from the site as soon as customers began to complain.
A spokesperson for Target stated that the image was an error due to "a garment at a photo shoot being mislabeled" and apologized for any discomfort or offense the photo caused.
Back in April 2013, Target labeled a gray plus-size dress as "Manatee Gray" while the same dress in regular sizes was called "Dark Heather Gray."
