A 2-year-old boy was found wandering in the middle of a busy street carrying two bottles of Mike's Hard Lemonade.

A passerby was driving down the street in Hastings, Minn. when he spotted the toddler, who was not wearing any socks or shoes, in the street clutching two bottles of the alcoholic beverage - one open and one closed - and called the police, according to KMSP-TV. There are no signs that the child consumed any of the beverage.

It was difficult to find out where the child came from, but eventually, 42-year-old Robert Rassett called police to say his son was missing. When the police arrived at Rassett's home, they found him intoxicated and uncooperative.

Rassett was charged with one count of child neglect and one count of child endangerment. He remains in the Dakota County Jail on $6,000 bail.

The boy has since been returned to his mother, who does not live with Rassett.
