In 1998 Damon starred alongside Tom Hanks in “Saving Private Ryan.”
In 1999 Damon starred in “The Talent Mr. Ripley.”
In 2001, Damon joined an all-star cast that included George Clooney and Brad Pitt in “Ocean’s 11.” The trio also starred in “Ocean’s 12” and “Ocean’s 13.”
In 2002, Damon played Jason Bourne – a trained assassin who loses his memory -- in “The Bourne Identity.” He also starred in “The Bourne Supremacy” and “The Bourne Ultimatum.”
In 2005 Damon teamed up with Clooney again in “Syriana.”
In 2006 he also appeared in “The Good Shepard,” a film – directed by Robert De Niro – that looks at the early days of the CIA. He starred alongside Angelina Jolie and De Niro.
In 2006 he played in Martin Scorsese’s “The Departed” alongside Leonardo DiCaprio.
In 2009, Damon earned an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his role in “Invictus.”
In 2011 Damon starred in the popular and critically acclaimed “We Bought a Zoo.”
In 2012 Damon teamed up with John Krasinski to write the screenplay and co-star in “Promised Land.”
Damon took a risky role in 2013 when he played Liberace’s lover in “Behind the Candelabra.” The movie aired on HBO and was nominated for 15 Primetime Emmys.
Damon starred in the futuristic “Elysium” in 2013.
He teamed up with Clooney again in “The Monuments Men” in 2014, a film directed and written by Clooney about a group of art historians who try to recover works of art stolen by the Nazis before Hitler destroys them.
Matt received his fourth Oscar nomination in 2016 for his work in "The Martian."
