Tyler joined the ABC 17 News team as Sports Director/Anchor in February 2009.
Tyler is a Missouri native, growing up in St. Louis County before graduating from the University of Missouri. After completing his bachelor's degree in 2007, Tyler worked at KHQA in Quincy, Illinois for a year before coming to the Networks of Mid-Missouri.
He is avid St. Louis sports fan with his favorite teams of course being the Cardinals, Rams and Blues. However, when it comes to basketball, he follows the Miami Heat and his idol, LeBron James. He hopes to share his passion of sports with viewers daily and provide viewers with important Mid-Missouri sports news from a trusted and friendly face.
Outside of the sports world, Tyler is a highly capable home cook. He also likes to spend time with his large family back in St. Louis.
