Sharon joined the ABC 17 Stormtrack weather team in May 2003 as Chief Meteorologist.
She was born and raised in Joliet, Illinois and graduated from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Meteorology. She holds the prestigious American Meteorological Society's (AMS) Seal of Approval. While in Mid-Missouri, Sharon has covered all of the extreme weather the region sees, including tornadoes in Sedalia and Joplin, the crippling 2006 winter storm, the historic February 2011 blizzard and several outbreaks of severe weather.
Sharon is always tracking weather moving in and through Mid-Missouri and is the first to alert you to changes in the weather. She can be seen every night Sunday through Thursday on ABC 17 News.
