Meredith Hoenes joined the ABC 17 News team in September 2011 as an Anchor.
Originally from Palmyra, Missouri, Meredith graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. Before coming to ABC 17, she worked at KOMU as a morning anchor, KRIS in Corpus Christi, Texas, and KSHB and WDAF in Kansas City. During her time in Kansas City, Meredith was nominated for several regional Emmy Awards.
Meredith hopes to deliver the important news clearly and without bias to Mid-Missouri viewers. She also wants to hold people in positions of power accountable to get things done and keep their promises.
In her free time, Meredith spends time with her husband and son. She enjoys exercising, fly fishing and being with her family.
